Treecko was my starter in Ruby, so of course I fell in love with the rest of the line too! Their designs are super cool! If I were to classify my side collections, I'd probably call this one a "main-side" haha. I just love this line too much!

Sceptile Pokedoll
Year: 2005
Company: Pokemon Center
Country of origin: USA
Received as a gift!
Comments: The Sceptile Pokedoll is perfect in every way! It's the cutest Sceptile out there. When I saw it at EPCOT's Mitsukoshi store, I asked my parents if I could have it as a birthday gift, and they said yes! It was always displayed in a place of honor in my room, but after a chocolate-related accident (not my fault), it got some stains on it as you can see on the right side of the plush. I was scared to try to wash it at the time because I didn't want to swirl the stain in more, so I just left it. Maybe I'll give cleaning it with Build-a-Bear cleaner a try some time!

Grovyle Hasbro Figure
Year: 2004
Company: Hasbro
Country of origin: USA
Where I bought it: Target
Comments: This was my only Grovyle figure for quite some time, and I love it so much! You can lift up on its head leaf, which makes its mouth open. I actually have two of these figures - one from the evolution line pack that included Treecko and Sceptile, and one from the double-pack with the small Cacnea figure!

Sceptile/ Treecko Metal Coin
Year: 2004
Company: Tomy
Country of origin: Japan
Where I bought it: PKMNCollectors LJ
Link to LJ page with more info!
Comments: I felt so lucky to have been able to jump in on an order of these coins on PKMNCollectors! The seller purchased a bunch of new blind bags, and members of the LJ community posted the Pokemon they would love to buy if a coin appeared. Somebody else requested one of each Treecko color before me so I was assuming I wouldn't get one, but I was surprisingly able to get this bronze one because there was an extra!

Treecko Advanced Generation TCG Binder
Year: 2003
Company: Toy Site
Country of origin: USA
Where I bought it: Toys R Us
Comments: This binder holds a lot of my favorite late Johto and early Hoenn era cards! I love that the binder body is red because it contrasts nicely with Treecko's green. Many of the cards I photographed instead of scanned in this section are from this binder (I didn't want to take the cards out of the pages that were sticking together for fear of damaging the cards which are over a decade old in most cases).

Treecko - Signed by Ken Sugimori
Signed at the 2004 Pokemon World Championships in Orlando, Florida
I still can't believe that I got a card actually signed by Ken Sugimori, since he's one of my Pokemon heroes! I chose to get Treecko signed because at the time I loved Treecko so much and figured it'd be a good choice! The marker bled over time, but the signature still looks awesome!
